My name's Jeff, though I also go by JeffroSuperfly, JeffroSuperstar or Jeffy (women only). I'm a 30 year-old public librarian who attended Wayne State University for a master's degree in Library and Information Science. I received my BA from Western Michigan University with a major in English (emphasis on creative writing) and a minor in Psychology.
I'm a little crazy, mostly happy worrier who gives a laid back outward appearance. In addition to writing stories and plays (and occasionally poetry—though not often), I also play guitar, piano, bass, clarinet, and was once in honors choir. How well I do all / any of those things are still open to debate!
I like to read, and in the last two months I’ve finished 5 different books. No, I’m not bragging…I’ve just found myself with too much time on my hands as of late. I also love movies / DVD's, especially horror movies of which I have a large collection. I’m easy to please and have a fun time doing just about anything with the right company. I’m extremely devoted to my mother, twin brother and my friends, and if I AM worrying you can bet it’s about one of them!
I like thrill rides. I'm ticklish. I love conversation and am always prattling on about something, though I’m great at listening and usually have some pretty good advice. Now if I could only practice what I preach!
I have a very mild case of Cerebral Palsy (mild meaning that it’s only affected my balance to a small extent). I know a lot of people who know someone with CP, and trust me: I’m not your typical case! If you ask me, things have worked out for the best: at least I didn't turn into one of those jockish guys who seem to cheat on their girlfriends all the time! It's also shaped me into who I am today, and that's someone I'm happy to see looking back in the mirror each morning.
My biggest pet peeves are liars or those who only look out for "number one," so if you're one of those people, please don't request to be my friend.

One of my hobbies is collecting rare and / or vintage video game systems, games and arcade boards. If you can name a system I probably either own one or have in the past. I AM looking to purchase a 3DO if anybody out there wants to sell me one really cheap...
My favorite game series was SEGA's "Phantasy Star" series (though I'm not a hardcore RPG-er).
My two favorite games of all-time are God of War II for the PS2 and Frogger. I love Frogger. Oh, and Jewel Quest. Right now I'm playing Deadspace. I suck.

I like ANYTHING, though don't listen to much rap, R&B or really twangy country, so if that's your taste you'll have to educate me on what's good! Since I can play some instruments, I guess I'm just a little more impressed when somebody can pick up a guitar and show me how lousy I really am ;)
What I really enjoy is straight up rock music (not into metal so much any more--I guess I'm getting soft!)...my favorite new band at the moment is Silvertide, but I also like Guns N' Roses, Alice In Chains, U2 (before and after their brief electronic phase), Buckcherry, Bon Jovi, Jackie Blue, Matchbox 20, and the mix CDs I made for Dana for when we have a road trip sing along!
I'm also a huge fan of anything 70's. Disco, funk, classic rock...it's all good. Some of my favorites are Stevie Wonder, KC and the Sunshine Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, WAR, Wild Cherry, Average White Band, Steve Miller and The Eagles.

Movies:
I'm really into horror and B-movies, but offhand I enjoyed the new Hills Have Eyes, Braveheart, The Crow, Gone With the Wind, The Lord of the Rings (Trilogy), Love and Basketball, The Boondock Saints, Scarface, Million Dollar Baby, Team America: World Police, Any Batman movie except "Batman and Robin," the entire Nightmare on Elm Street Series, The entire Friday the 13th Series, See No Evil, almost anything by Troma, Donnie Darko, Sin City, The Goonies are my favorites! OK that sounds ridiculous, because that's a ton of movies, but you don't want me to lie, right?
TV: Currently I like "24", "Prison Break," "Veronica Mars," "CSI: Miami", "Family Guy" and "Lost." Sounds like a lot of TV, but as for how often I SEE them all, that's a different story. I guess I'll need a Tivo eventually! If were talking older shows: Buffy, Angel, Futurama, Married With Children, and Stripperella...I'm sorry, but it's just so juvenile it's funny!
Books:
I like reading anything by F. Paul Wilson. Clive Barker's "The Thief of Always is my favorite book, and I also enjoy Stephen King and Dean Koontz (selectively). I also enjoy anything with zombies in it (that goes for movies as well).
While we're talking books, "My Happy Life" was GREAT and really, REALLY made me think...but much like "Monster's Ball" was for movies, it's probably the most depressing thing you'll ever read...and yet somehow uplifting.
