22 years old, 5'11 of overly pale army guy with a slight gut that I can't get rid of. 175 pounds, blue eyes, brown hair, Christian, eloquent, big on the sarcastic humor approach to life. I read Shakespeare, but I'm not a douchebag, honest.
People have been asking alot about my name, thinking it's a knock on myself. It isn't. See, everyone knows in this world that there's "types" everyone has. There's this one type you know well. He's funny, and does his best to make you laugh. He cares, sometimes it seems more about other people than himself. He's sweet, and always has a compliment ready for you every day. He sounds like a great guy, and chances are, he is, but chances are I just described your best friend. The guy you always talk to about your relationship problems, the guy who undertands you. The guy you have such a wonderful platonic chemistry with. And, most importantly, the guy you'd never date for fear of risking all that.
That's me, I'm that guy, and I'm not what you're looking for.
1. I don't like me very much, never have, never will.
2. I'm Christian, but I don't expect any of you to be, so long as you don't judge me, I won't judge you.
3. Chances are my geek factor will overwhelm you. I have a massive collection of movies, video games, and comic books, and used to be into Magic: The Gathering. It's all a bit overhwelming, to be certain.
4. I'm me first, and a soldier second. Serving my country is an honor, but it's an ends to the means. Once my term is up, I'm going to college and doing what I really want to do with my life.
5. I'm friendly, I'm polite, but I'm also honest. If I don't agree, you'll know.
6. My biggest fear is knowing that I hardly ever see my friends, and as such, that I may end up losing them as time goes by.
7. I like to eat food. I work out because I'm in the army, so I use that as reasoning to not have any set diet.
8. I enjoy writing, but have to be properly inspired to do so.
9. Chances are when you think I'm being serious, I'm really intending to be sarcastic or cynical.
10. One of the things that irks me most is all the people tht have "Fan and rate before adding!" in their profile. I'm sorry that this site is such an inconvenience for you to do that, but frankly I'm happy with any attention I get from anyone.
11. The fact that I rate anyone who rates me, regardless of gender, has lead to me getting hit on by a few gay guys. Maybe I put off gay vibes (I love theatre after all), but no, I'm not gay. Does that mean I'm going to stop doing my best to return rates to everyone who sends them to me? Absolutely not. Being hit on by a gay guy, to me, is no worse than being hit on by a girl you aren't interested in. Be polite and be honest, and they'll get the idea. Homophobia is for the neandrathals.
12. I put up emotional walls, and please don't tell me that I shouldn't. As others will attest, I've told myself what will hapen when I don't, and then go and let someone in anyway. Surprise surprise, what I said would happen did, and a really good person gets hurt because of me. So yeah. Shields up.
13. I love talking about most anything, even taboo subjects, the stronger an opinion on the subject, the better, even if it disagrees with my own.

Well let's see, I'm in the military, but judging by my interests, you'd never think it. I'm a Democrat, I love acting and being in theatre, I enjoy reading, be it murder mysteries, classics, or comic books, all are big on my reading list. I love movies of all sorts, with a penchant not only for good films, but the absurd. Especially Army of Darkness or Anchorman type of movies that are so tongue-in-cheek. I like talking with people who have an opinion, who actually take a side in things, even if it disagrees with my own opinion.
