(last updated:September 28, 2009 @ 6:42 pm)
At the time of this writing, I am a 41 year old male, I'm divorced (was married 16 years), and I have a son who lives with my ex-wife. My son is 8 years old.

I am an **extremely** introverted, **extremely "socially shy", and a very quiet kind of guy (If you contact me, I apologize in advance for this.) and tend to always be alone and do things alone. Part of it is due to me now being divorced. I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't drink, and for me being on this website, although only a virtual bar, is an oxymoron for me. After I get to know someone a bit, I open up more and people have told me I'm funny and great to be around.

I served 8 years in the US Marines. I originally went in as a diesel mechanic, but that was too boring for me, so I put in for a transfer to an Infantry unit. I got approved and was a heavy machine gunner. After a while of that, it too just wasn't challenging enough for me and I transferred to a Special Forces unit.

I drive an 18-wheeler for a company based out of Springfield, Missouri USA. The company has tankers, reefer (refrigerated), and flatbed trailers. I haul flatbed. The majority of the things I transport are construction related materials. Lumber, flat plate steel, drywall, roofing shingles, bricks, boulders, coils of steel (nicknamed 'slinkies'), and steel coils (huge rolls of steel).

I also carry non-construction related materials like bags of 50 lb cedar chips, 50lb bags of salt, "Bobcat" vehicles, "New Holland" vehicles, "Case" vehicles, fabricated steel siding, steel I-beams, oilfield pipe, gas line pipe, and much more.

Bobcat, New Holland, and Case vehicles mentioned above are little 4-wheeled vehicles, usually with a bucket in front. They have a multitude of uses and are seen on construction sites and also farms.

I have hauled some agricultural equipment too.

I took a huge pipe, 48' long, 6' tall, to a job-site in Staten Island, New York. It was for a water main. They had to pull off the steel plates on the road and lower in the pipe.

The area I drive in is Texas regional. This region covers: Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. On occasion I get sent outside of my region to another State (like New York), but that's not very often, and I am quickly routed back to my region after unloading my cargo.

I used to have a Playstation and Playstation 2, but when I got divorced, I gave them both to my son. He had some children's games and I didn't have the heart to take my game consoles and leave him with just his games. I still have all my personal games that I like to play, but I don't have a Playstation 2 yet.

I like all kinds of music and from all over the world. If I had to choose a certain type of music to listen to, I'd say that Trance music would be my most favorite. I listen to classical music sometimes while driving (I drive an 18-wheeler), and even sometimes when I do computer programming (geek for life.. haha). I've been helping Chinese people practice and learn English and have been introduced to Chinese music as well. I listen to Trance music every day on my Sirius Satellite Radio in my 18-wheeler.

I like reading, art, animals (cats in particular), watching soccer, watching australian rules football, watching rugby, watching motocross racing, watching superbike racing, reading and writing poetry, travel, photography, driving, collecting foreign currency, stamp collecting, model railroading, science, history, watching any "learning" type channel on cable TV, ANYTHING related to computers (especially Linux, UNIX, programming, chatting, repair/assemby). I have a very wide range of interests, too much to think of everything at this moment.

Idols.... hmm.. I think Chow Yun Fat is cool as hell. A great actor. I also like Toshiro Mifune a lot too. He's excellent. Jet Li and Jackie Chan are all time greats.

My interest in movies is kinda corny. I really like those kung fu films, in Chinese or English. I love to watch Japanese Samurai films, my favorite being the "Samurai" trilogy (Samurai I, Samurai II, Samurai III). I like all of Akira Kurosawa Samurai films, and even the Shogun mini-series from back in the early 80's.

I also like watching Japanese Anime too.

My film interests also include Thai action films, "The Protector" being my favorite Thai film.

I enjoy Chinese police drama films and Korean police drama films.

My favorite Korean film is "Musa". It's not a police drama film, but a Korean period film.

I really like the original "Solaris" (Russian) film.

I like watching DVDs by Kung Faux (http://www.kungfaux.com/), they're a parody of those corny 1970's Kung fu films. They have people ad-libbing and rap music. So funny!

In regards to non-foreign films, I like watching action, science fiction, and mystery films. I don't get into watching horror films, they're so unrealistic in my opinion.

I'm a typical guy when it comes to what's referred to as "Chick flicks". I don't really care to watch them, however, I have seen some. I will admit that I have a favorite: "Remains of the day".

I like some comedy films, but some don't interest me.
