Words of an Angel
Once, a young orphan girl, despondent and lonely, walked through a
meadow and saw a butterfly caught in a thorn bush. The more the
butterfly struggled to free itself, the deeper the thorns cut into
its fraigle body.
Filled with compassion, the girl released the butterfly. But,
instead of flying away, the butterfly transformed into an angel and
said gently, "To reward you for your kindness, I will do whatever
you would like."
The girl thought for a moment, and then replied, "I want to be
happy!"
"Very well", the angel said. Then the heavenly creature leaned close
to the girl and whispered something in her ear.
Many years later, as the orphan girl lay on her deathbead after a
full and happy life, her friends gathered around her. "Won't you
tell us your secert now?" they pleaed.
With a labored smile, the woman answered, " An angel told me that no
matter where I went in life, I would find people who needed me -
people rich or poor, young or old, meek or self-assured - and
meeting those needs would bring me happiness and satisfaction."
And therein is a principle of a good life, just remember there are
people who need you today. Be an angel and meet that need, You'll be
happier for it!

I found this story and wanted to share it with all of you, I am very
happy to say that there are angels in this group, everyone of us
knows who our own angels are and what they mean to us.... I pray
that we find our happiness in life and share it with those we love.

In Memory of My Daddy May 28, 1932 ~ March 22, 1998
"God's Garden"
God looked around His garden,
And he found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the Earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be a beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

I know it has been 9 years since God took you to be in "His Garden", but everyday I miss you and love you. You are/were a special father to me... "Any man can be a Father, but it takes a special one to be a Daddy." I am the lucky one to have had such a wonderful man in my life I call/ed "Daddy." I will always remember you.... "My heart will go on!"

You're Never Alone

You're never alone,
I am always near,
When your troubled, down,or blue.
All you have to do is call me,
I'm always here for you.
It doesn't matter where I'm at.

It doesn't matter when,
When you need someone to talk to,
I'm here to be your friend.
If you need someone to hold your hand,
or a hug to say I care.
If you need a shoulder to cry on,
for you I will be there.

So never think you are a burden,
when the weight gets to be to much.
You might find if you look hare enough,
a good friend could be the right touch.

It happened...

When I see your smiling face,
It takes me to a special place.

Trying to share feelings that were hidden,
Now out for the taking.

Sculpting our lives into a mold of the unordinary,
To treasure the beauty that unfolds within.

Able to be happy, free, and open with each other,
Sharing our love with no other.

Realizing it happened for one not long ago,
And the other just moments within an hour or so.

Saying "I love you" comes easier and more meaningful
today,tomorrow, and always -
Now we are able to express it in so many different ways.

Forever and Always is what we say -

Dear God,
So far today....
I've done all right,
I haven't gossiped,
and I haven't lost my temper,
I haven't even been grumpy,
nasty, or selfish....hummm!
BUT in a few minutes God,
I'm gonna get out of bed and....

NEED A LOT OF HELP!!
