I play guitar. 
I play hard and fast, soft and slow,
and a million things in between. 
Music is my life, honestly, and saved what
little sanity I have remaining while I was in Iraq.
I used to do a lot more before I hurt my knee
while I was over there, but I still like to drive
around for hours, and hike a little on actual
trails. Like the ones on actual mountains. Not
that fake shit people keep trying to play off
as hiking in their backyard. Fuck that.
The world has so much beauty in it, beauty that
I believe all of us fail to appreciate as much as
we should. We take sunrise and sunset for granted.
When was the last time you went outside to smell
the passion of a Georgia thunderstorm? It's
breathtaking, just so you know.
I am not a hippie. I just appreciate that
everything you think you know and love is not
guaranteed. I am also not religious, if that
bothers you, by all means, don't add or fan or
whatever me. But I am an adult, and I fight as
much for my right to not have a religion as I 
do for your right to have yours. 

Please respect that.
I don't care if you agree/disagree with the war,
the Service, or me. You have every right to.
You do not have the right to force it on anyone else.

I have a three year old daughter that I would do
anything for and rarely get to see. I've posted a few
pics, for friends only. She is why I go to work every day. Love you Kali!
