We did a lot of crazy things We had our little fights But when I was upset I could talk to you I was glad you were in my life I wouldn't have traded your friendship For anything in this world To have had a friend like you I felt like such a lucky girl No matter where I go in life No matter what I do I'll always remember that special person The friend that I had in you... love you, George R.I.P. My needs are small My wants are few All I need is someone who Can make me laugh When I want to cry Someone to care If I live or die Someone to tell my troubles to Someone to say "I love you, I do" Someone to reach and touch my hand Someone to say "I understand" Someone to lead me from darkness to light Someone to show me the wrong from the right Someone to keep me close to home And stop the urge when I want to roam Someone to take my hand as we walk in the rain With someone who's known the heart and the pain Someone to love, honor, and trust These are the things that must be a must...
There are places I remember... All my life Though some have changed Some forever, not for better... Some have gone And some remain For these places have their moments... With lovers and friends I still can recall Some are dead and some are living In my life I've loved them all...
Continue with you work, Continue with your toils You have it in your hands to own Your lives to own Your loves No one can show you the road you should be on They only say that they can help you Then tomorrow they are gone...
Reflections on the water, like shadows in my mind, speak to me of passing days and nights and passing time. The falling leaves are whispering, winter's on its way. I close my eyes remembering the warmth of yesterday. It seems a shame to see September swallowed by the wind. And more than that it's oh so sad to see the summer end. And though the changing colors are a lovely thing to see, if it were mine to make the change I think I'd let it be...but I don't remember hearing anybody asking me.
