This small town girl grew up in Post, Texas, where I was riding horses, working cattle, and other ranch duties, till the day I started kindergarten, and still did it after school. Then in 1981 my family moved to Childress, Texas, and I continued to doing the ranch thing but also adding farming to my life. Then in 1987 I lost a very important person in my life my granddad. I then graduated high school in 1988, and entered the United Stated Army. I loved the disciplined life it showed me and the different adventures you go thro with it, I had to give up my military career after I suffered a back injury that almost left me crippled. I then came back home to Childress, Texas. I married in 1992 and had my oldest wonderful son, Buck, his father and I divorced in 1993. And I met my 2nd husband, my wonderful Kelly's father and we divorced in 1997. I then met my beautiful daughter, Rebekah's father and we split up in 2000. So I am very lucky I have 3 gorgeous and intelligent children. In September of 2007 I thought I was going to lose all of them to the battle of gastric cancer, but God decided that it was not my time. In December of 2007, I lost my best friend, and father, Buck Hawley. My world almost stopped, he was the one person in my whole life that totally understood me and I carried all my problems too, cause everything he ever told me came true. I am very thankful that he was in my life, because most of who I am came from him. I am also very thankful for the family I have today, with out them I would not have a reason to get up everyday.
