First off you're probably wondering what a "Wapsi Rat" is. Well I've got a camp on the Wapsipinicon River in Eastern Iowa and that's where I spend alot of my free time hence the name Wapsi Rat. I'm just an average working stiff. I'll be 47 in August and happily married for 23 years now. I don't have any kids of my own other than four legged ones. I'm a softy for all animals but especially dogs. Right now we have five of them and they were all either strays, orphans, or rescues. I can't help it, I can't say no to a puppy face! As far as hobbys and such goes I love music (Blues, Rock, Jazz). Movies at home. Auto racing especially NASCAR (Matt Kenseth's my fav). Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes football. I enjoy the outdoors like camping, biking, gardening, etc. If I'm cooped up for the winter I build model cars, collect 60's slot cars and track, and also read the occasional hardback. I also obviously do the online thing too, that's why I'm here. I spend time on FuBar to just check people out. I'm not here to hook up with someone for cyber-sex or to start some kind of cyber-affair. Just to make friends and hopefully make someone smile!
