I was born right here in Petersburg, VA. I grew up in Colonial Heights, and after I graduated high school I went to work on the railroad. Today I live outside of Petersburg. I live not too far away where it takes forever to get to town, but I live where it is quiet and serene. I'm a pretty easy going guy. I enjoy the simple things in life, and appreciate the people and things I am fortunate enough to have in my life. Anything else you want to know, just ask.

Spending time with my friends and family. Playing my guitars, and having a jam session with friends. I like going to concerts and live music. Travel...I love the west. The desert is awesome. The beach, fishing, playing golf, hiking, working out, and pretty much anything outdoors. Watching football on weekends with friends or going to a game. Cooking out with friends when the weather is nice and hanging out by the fire pit when it isn't. I like trying new kinds of food, and enjoying old favorites. I also enjoy wine tastings, photography, and playing with my dogs Ginger and Odie. Last, but not least....developing the perfect margarita.
Sports
I enjoy football, especially Virginia Tech Football.......My little sister and grandfather are alumni of Virginia Tech.
Hockey season is here!!
I've been playing golf since 1979. It is something special that I got to do on Saturdays with my dad and Granddaddy. I don't get to play as often as I would like, but dad and I still go and play from time to time. I plan on taking some trips to play golf at different courses in 2008.
This picture if of a course in Phoenix, AZ that I would like to play someday.
Pebble Beach
Augusta National
Travel (places I will visit soon)
There are several places I still haven't seen yet. Mostly out west. Here are a few of them I am looking forward to seeing.
Delicate Arch at Arches National Park.
Monument Valley (a couple of hours south of Arches NP) on the Utah/Arizona border
One vacation I plan on spending here in Colorado..........just relaxing for a week and fishing.
I would also like to see parts of Alaska and Canada someday.
The Sauce
Over the years I have drank pretty much anything and everything. Now I have settled on a few favorites. Tequila, orange crush shots, champagne, wine, and a few beers.
Champagnes and wines I drink depend on what food I am having with them (or maybe who is with me at the time). I enjoy Jacob's Creek Reserve Shiraz (2003) with my New York Strip. It's also great with Black Diamond aged cheddar. Blue Moon Oregon reisling is a sweet white wine I like. Asti-Spumante is my favorite sparkling wine to drink.
Where do I start? I love to eat. I love steak and prime rib. Mexican food is a favorite too (chile rellenos). Sushi is something I tried recently and enjoyed. I love to grill out and I try to cook indoors but somehow that doesn't always turn out as well as it does on the grill.....hmm. I like italian food too, and desserts, we won't even go there.
James Bond movies, Die Hard, Bullitt (yes the car chase scene is still awesome), The Breakfast Club, Roadhouse,......pretty much anything with Charles Bronson, Eastwood, or McQueen in it.
