I AM A 42 YR. OLD FEMALE WHO IS THE 2nd OLDEST OF 7 GIRLS! ALL 7 OF US ARE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD ONE WAY OR ANOTHER RANGING FROM NURSING, MIDWIFE, CHIROPRACTOR, MORTICIAN & DIAGNOSTIC MEDICINE. I AM CURRENTLY ON DISABILITY, BUT I WORKED AS A BEAUTICIAN FOR SEVERAL YEARS, I STILL DO IT ON THE SIDE, TO DATE. THAN I DECIDED TO CHANGE MY CAREER IN 94 & GO INTO MEDICAL FOR OBVIOUS REASONS (MY OWN HEALTH ISSUES). I AM A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT & LICENSED PHLEBOTOMIST. (YEH A VAMPIRE TO THE ONES WHO NEED THEIR BLOOD TAKEN)LOL I HAVE BEEN A CMA/PHLEBOTOMIST FOR A LIL OVER 20 YRS & LUV THE FIELD. I ENJOY SPENDING MY TIME WITH CHILDREN & WROTE A CHILDRENS BOOK BACK IN "85" & DID A COLORING BOOK IN "90", SO, I COULD SEND ALL PROCEEDS TO THE NY CHILDRENS HOSPITAL FOR CANCER RESEARCH. BACK IN MAY OF 1999 I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HODGKINS LYMPHOMA & WAS GIVEN 6 TO 9 MONTHS TO LIVE, BUT I JUMPED THE HURDLES, BEAT THE ODDS OR SHALL I SAY THE STATISTICS & HERE I AM TODAY TO TALK ABOUT IT. I AM ALSO A FIBRO MYALGIA PATIENT & SUFFER FROM WHAT'S CALLED SEVERE ADVANCED PRIMARY LYMPHEDEMA IN BOTH LOWER EXTREMETIES, BUT NOTHING HAS STOPPED ME FROM WAKING UP WITH A SMILE & BEING PROUD OF WHOM I HAVE BECOME THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. LIFE HAS BEEN A MAJOR STRUGGLE HEALTHWISE.... BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE IN OR GIVE UP ON LIFE! I CAN BE A FUNNY, YET A GOOFY PERSON AT TIMES & I LUV LIFE! I ALSO LUV TO SIT DOWN & JUST WRITE WHAT IS IN MY HEART!! I LUV TO BE EXPRESSIVE & SHOW IT IN MY DRAWINGS/ARTWORK & WRITING! I LOVE SHOWING THE SENSITIVE SIDE OF MYSELF! I am one with tons of interests! What interests me the most is music!I love how each song you hear has such deep meaning when it comes to your personal surrounds! I live for music!lol I have a love for rabbits & own 4 of them. Two b/w dutch, a chinchilla rabbit & a white velveteen albino rabbit. Anyone who knows me hears about them all the time! I truly enjoy reading, learning as much as this old brain can withstand, writing, sketching free hand, making jewelery, writing poems, journals, children's books and putting on paper my deepest thoughts! I love the great outdoors & would love to skydive, spend a day in a hot air balloon taking scenic pictures & having a picnic in the air with a glass of wine, I want to try para-sailing also before I become senile!lmao I enjoy being with friends & loving each day as it comes.... whether it is a bad day, one of the worst you can imagine or a awesome one that fills your soul up with happiness! Think about this.........Your alive and breathing, God created you to be the very best person you are so make the very best out of it! I treasure each & every one of my friends! Partying? Yeh, yeh........ at my age I only do it once in a while. I don't need to be drunk or on drugs to have a fantastic time!
