Finally got around to doing this. Me, huh? First I was born, not found under a rock. From there it only got better. Thanks to a very good friend when I was 18, I invested early and wisely. Grew up in California but got the hell outta there as soon as possible. Last lived in Colorado before I bought this island and moved down here. Retired in my 40's (retirement is the ability to not HAVE to work, never stop being active) In my working life was in management of large corporations in the beginning but then went into business for myself. Mostly have always been in business for myself. Did my stint with Uncle Sam and got back to the real world. Had always wanted a private island, so when the opportunity rose and the location and island were right, I did it. Moved here 4 yrs ago with my girlfriend and we love it. We have friends down always, both from the U.S. and locals we have grown to love. Family comes down a couple times a year and we get back to the states throughout the year so the kids and grandkids see us regularly. We have a big blowout party once a year, and always have new friends joining us each year, now I have Fubar friends that will be invited. I provide the transportation from there to here and back. Besides the main house, I built living facilities for 20 additional people and when the party comes about we can handle close to a hundred. It's always loads of fun. People can do basically whatever they want, from horseback riding to scuba, waterski,climbing or just lie around and relax. My only steadfast rules are: no fighting, yelling, screaming, insulting others and the biggie--NO DRUGS ARE ALLOWED ON MY ISLAND. Since I'm the "boss" I can make any rules I want--right?. Just relaxing and total enjoyment and we love to share this with other people.
We run off of hydroelectric, solar and wind power depending on the demand and season, so all the comforts of home and amenities are here. Hey, we even have inside restroom facilities--lol. (inside joke) Enough for now, you have a question, heck, drop a line and i'll answer it.
