Sondra here...I was asked by some of the people on our friends list to put something about myself up on this page.
I am not sure where to start, so this could end up being rather disjointed...Some facts about me...

I was born 7-17-62 and I am originally from Monroe, Michigan but have lived in Michigan [Monroe & Detroit], Ohio[Cincinasty's Over-The-Rhine neighborhood], Kentucky [Corbin, London, Fariston, Middlesboro, Pineville, Heidrick and Williamsburg], Tennessee [some cow pasture], Virginia [another cow pasture] and North Carolina [Franklin/Otto just down the mtn from Cherokee] at one point or another as well as traveling to other states. I love to travel and see new places and faces.
For most of my life my best friends have been male but I like hanging with 'some' women as well.

For those who keep asking-I did not go to high school anywhere. I didn't even enroll in high school but I did attend college for 3 years, entering much earlier than I would have had I attended high school. I attended Cumberland College/University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky and Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Ky-Corbin campus. My areas of concentration were Pre-Med and Psychology as majors. I took a double major and did quite well with it. I carried a straight 4.0 grade average and enjoyed my studies a great deal.
I didn't get to finish, though, because emergency life saving kidney surgery put my flat on my back in the hospital for a few months and I lost my funding in the meanwhile. I now have a fake ureter from my right kidney to my bladder to help keep me alive.

I am a writer though not yet published. I am currently working on 5 different books. I intend to put up a blog to tell more about my writing when I get time to do that, so keep your eyes open.
I am mother to Shivon, and mother-in-law to Powder, both of whom are in our family list. Be sure to show them some Fu love. I have two granddaughters and a grandson on the way.
I am a DES Daughter, as well as having had Polio as a baby, in utero, and was born with mild Spina Bifida. Add to that Scoliosis and Arthritis. I still struggle from time to time with the after effects of the health issues I have faced but try very hard to keep a smile on my face as much as possible. I am Bi-Polar but keep pretty level at most times. I also have many of the markers for Autism but was never diagnosed as such.

I have a deep respect for all our military personnel, both past and present.
I am of the Christian faith and attend a Pentecostal church when I go but I haven't been in several years.
I love to dance, even if I am not very good at it. Unlike many people, I do not need to have a drink before I get on the dance floor. I dance because it is fun and makes me feel good. I am 420 friendly.
I am into outdoor activities-camping, canoeing, swimming, sunning, freehand climbing, hiking, walking, etc...I also enjoy cooking, gardening, playing with my grandkids and hanging out with friends.
I am basically a nice person but will not put up with any BS off anyone. I will try to fix whatever problem anyone is having, though. Just keep your drama and bullshit to yourself, please. Show respect and you will receive respect.

I love powwows and Native gatherings and have danced in the inner circle in the past, by invitation, with honor and respect for all my relations. There are pix in our folders of one powwow we attended. Be sure to take a look at them, they are beautiful..Paul knows best how to capture the greatest shots on film!
I have been in drum circles in the past, as the heartbeat drum, chosen for reasons obvious to those who know me best. I enjoy drumming and singing but haven't in quite awhile, it's time to do so again...I also want to start dancing at powwows whenever possible and not just as a guest. The honor of being asked to dance in the inner circle is not lost on me but dancing with all my relations is awesome and an honor in and of itself.

As for other aspects of my personal life, I am an open book in most ways but some things I prefer to keep very private. Anything you want to know, ask me. I will either give you the honest answer or tell you that I prefer to not say.
I can say that I wasn't looking for a mate when Paul and I met and joined paths. I was walking my own path and doing what I enjoyed doing, just being myself when my Creator put us together and I feel very Blessed to have him a part of my life.
I love him and respect him a great deal, just as he loves and respects me, and I feel very appreciative of even knowing him as he is a wonderful person and knows how to treat people right! Plus he is handsome, smart and sexy, whoo hoo! I'm such a Blessed girl!
