I am a citizen soldier. I recently returned home after serving for a year in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. I left my home in January 2004, and returned home in March 2005. I took quite a few photos with my digital camera while I was there, and have copies of thousands more from friends of mine. I am currently attempting to write a book about the experiences of mine, and those of some of my fellow soldiers.

I am a former paratrooper, and cavalry scout. I am curently an infantryman in the National Guard. I am studying to become a paralegal, however, if I do well I may convert to pre-law and go for a JD.

I enjoy travel, both staying in decent hotels, with room service; or sometimes "roughing it" in a tent. I have been to many for lands, often with the military; but also on my own. I still want to travel to Scotland, London, Hong Kong, and Rome would be among my destinations of choice. I have also been to almost every state, except for the Dakotas, and most of New England. I regret that I did not make it to NYC until after 9-11.
