In my military career. These are the places Ive been. In Jan 1990 I was sent to MCRD Paris Island, SC (Boot Camp), NAS Millington, TN (school), NAS North Island, San Diego, CA (school), MCAS Cherry Point, NC ( 1st Duty station), MCAS El Toro, CA (2nd duty station). After I got out I joined the Army Reserves in Green Bay, Wi. I was a 88M (truck driver). I joined the Army full time in April 2000. I went to Ft. Sill, OK (reclasses as a 82C now 13S Fieldv Artillary Surveyor). Then off to Ft. Carson to be assigned to 4th ID, 3rd BN, 29th FA. Sent to Kuwait as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. I reenlisted for another 4 yrs. After returning from Kuwait, got orders to Germany. I was assigned to The "Big Red One" 1st BN, 33rd FA. Feb 2004 deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. 25 Aug 2004, I was injuried by an IED (improvise exploding device). My right arm at the elbow was blown out. I have a small piece of sharpnel in my chin. My arm was reconstructed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC. I spent my time there from 01 Sept 2004 to Feb 2006.
