Hello Family & Friends

I thought I'd update You on how I'm doin' since Surgery on Oct. 07th 2013....

Well so far it's a SUCCESS...YEAH....

I've gotten feelin' back in My feet that I haven had in over 6 years...and that alone is a success...We weren't even lookin' for that...so that's a plus...also the shootin' pain I had thet would contuious shoot down My legs have gone away on one side...( He only did the decompression on the one side) He said if it worked on this side than in 3-6  months He'll do the other side...(Great just what I really want to do is go thru this again in 3-6 months)...But He had to do so much on the left side that He didn't think it would be good to go ahead and do the depression on that side right than....so I guess in 3-6 months I will be goin' under another surgery to get the other side done...

Well I do have to say this surgery was a lot better than the other 2 I've gone thru...He went in thru My left side...I was in My room maybe 2 hours and they were there and had Me up and walkin' down the halls...I was like REALLY...Well it wasn't that bad...the other 2 surgery's I wasn't up walkin' for awhile....

Well I had a high fever that wouldn't break...it would go down and than come right back...it did this for 2 days & nites...finally at 4 AM My fever broke I woke up all wet...My sheets were drinched and so was I...

Also durnin' all this I had Bad Bad Bad back muscle spazams...Oh let Me tell You they were Killer...

They had Me on all kinds of meds...and none would touch the muscle spazams...all they did was knock Me out...

Than the ride home...Oh fun...NOT....2 hour ride home...had to wear a back brace that did nothin' but make Me hurt worse...and also the Dr didn't order any pain meds for the ride home...only a RX ...well I made it...but OMG...I was in so much pain...

The 16th I had to go back to Jackson to get My stamples out...and He gave Me a different rx for the muscle spazams Thank God...Now there manageable...cept I sleep a lot ...but they say sleepin' heals You...

well it's been 3 weeks now since surgery...and I am doin' better...I still have back muscle spazam's...and pain in My side in the front...I guess it's from where they moved everything around to be able to do surgery...and to have room to hammer out My L1 disc and do what they needed to do...

I go back to see My Dr Nov 6th...and will see what He wants to do ...
