Ok this feels kinda odd doing something like this over here. Myspace has turned into just one big cermersal advertizing a ton of different stuff that we each got going on more so then crazy fun friend updates on whats going down over the weekend.
Well this one is a bit important. My buddy Joe Dirt has a son age 16 whos right now in the ICU losing his two year battle with cancer. He can't move anything from his neck down. Something got to his spine. I don't know much more then that. He was fine and just got baptized and two hours later was unable to move any part of his body but his head.
I'm going to come out and just say it.....
Joe's Son is on Myspace and he wrote his own blog. It's set to private or I would link you all to his blog. In his blog he said hes not ready to die.. He doesn't want to die. That its not his time yet. He was meant to play football. He's pretty much one of the stars of his schools football team.. Even being sick and all hes still one of the stars.. This kid is that good at the game.
Hes 16 years old.. Been fighting cancer for the last two years. Thought he was going to pull through and make it. Hes now unable to move any part of his body but his head. This kid at the age of 16 can not move nothing and is laying there knowing hes dying and he cant even reach out to hold is own father for security. Now picture you as a parent with your child. What do you think is running through my buddys mind? I cant even try to think what it's like being him right now.
There is nothing no one can do.. It feels so helpless and I'm so lost turning in circles not knowing what to say or do. I just feel like crying.
So you parents out there. Can you help me out plz,?. I'm sure a few of you wouldn't mind going over to his page and saying a few words to him with understanding hearts. If you have lost a child or have a friend that has I ask you if its not to hard to do so to plz maybe give a few words to him.. I'm a parent of two little girls ages 14 and 9. I don't think I would even be able to stand let alone deal with anything that Joe has already been facing,.
So I need your help guys. Plz give him some support and maybe even an add request. I'm posting a goofy picture of him one time when he was at my house... Some times Joe gets a little carried away and he forgets who he is and all of a sudden with the help of my daughters tutu and maybe a bling or two he thinks he has transformed himself into a white Snoop Dog... Look closely I see the resemblance don't you? That Joe always making me laugh.... Thank you guys.
