My continued existence has no real meaning
In this so utterly hopeless state of being
Could it be I was meant to be alone?
By myself, with no one to call my own
I have lost the one who's most dear to me
How? How, could this be my destiny?
My life is a wasteland, of love it is devoid
Why is it always suffering I cannot avoid
Happiness merely a figment of my imagination
Walking a path alone is my only destination
Day by day I can only grow more wretched
Unloved, I have never felt more rejected
I can be consoled only by the misery I feel
Shall I continue on? No, I have lost the will
