TURTLES
50 caramels
1/4 cup milk
3 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 bar gulf cooking wax
Melt caramels and milk together over low heat. Stir in pecans. Drop balls of mixture on buttered cookie sheet. Place cookie sheets in the freezer for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips and gulf wax. Dip caramel balls in chocolate.
Let stand 15 minutes before stacking.
