i have 8 cats and a dog door. they will catch birds and bring them in the house.
my question is what to do with the birds that i am unable to save. do i let the cats have them so they do not go right after another and the birds death was not for nothing...but i am thinking this might also encourage them to go after birds... or do i take the bird and hope they don't get another because killing birds is being a bad kitty.
my cats eat very well and have toys...i know it is instinct but i like birds and my goal is to spare as many of their lives as i can. closing the dog door is not an option i have 4 and i live in a bad area. |
