Cast aside, like so much fodder,
left alone to learn lessons forgotten.
I lay in sighs of darkness,
like pvc around my body.
A bite to the soul,
never healed and never forgotten.
It lingers still,
the promise that you were.
I pledged allegance to you,
when you turned me out in the storm.
Blown and battered on angry winds.
Seeming to come at your whim.
But you never accounted on the wings.
Then when proven false
you reject what was so true.
You become another lie.
Another mistake,
One I will make again and again.
Blame me at your Will.
I am over your head.
Strength blooms within this breast.
My 'milk for gaul'
I walk across the coals,
I meet the devil face to face,
A devil I allowed control.
I reach down,
grab his balls and twist,
all with a smile and say
"can you ignore me now?'
