A co-worker made his first smoked brisket this weekend,I gave him some tips,he even wrote them down,he showed up tuesday morning with enough brisket for the guys at work.The brisket was tender,but tasted like it was marinaded in charcoal starter fluid,he smiled, and said "what do you think?" I nodded my head in approval,and said "you did good,very good"should i tell him the truth,or just let him do his thing?
