yes i know alot of you have been leaving me comments my wireless card went out of my laptop and the pc on this boat sucks its a dell and is slow as hell we rely on a cingular wireless card to get signal and when im down on the lower mississippi like this trip we dont have good signal (just ask becky ) the phone service sucks .

well im back on the boat again so please know all on my friends list the boats at wkn have wireless through cingular however i have to have a good signal to be able to connect i will comment back to those who talk to me soon as i can. on here we work 6 hours on 6 hours off and i will be here for 28 days ... tc all of you... seph

Talk about a scorcher 107 on barges today smoking hot damn near passed out today with the heat on tow thank god i got a mate who is willing to work with ya and understands that this heat WILL and can kill you out here. although the one tiny thing i dont like about this company so far is they haul some dangerous shit benzene amonium nitrate fertalizer and caustic sodium god forbid a bridge accident benzene causes cancer and the nitrate is explosive grade then the caustic sodium is like a potent acid. top that off with some real heavy humidity damn when you open the hatch covers to check for water the fumes just hit you like a ton of bricks. i took some new pictures today which i will upload later on gotta sort the crappy ones out first but this shuffle from st louis to cairo illinois is getting old back and forth im hoping once we get to st louis this time we get a run south to tiger fleet louisiana it would put us right around paducah ky for crew change which is where my vehicle is at the home office for the most part the things i knew out here before are comming back to me it is just taking a little time and i cannot ask for more i have had two mates working with me and they talk to you like your human which makes you more willing to listen than someone who talks to you like a piece of shit. between the water and the gatorade i swear im drinking about 4 to 6 gallons a day of fluids lol oh well miss everyone on here so decided to post a blog talk to yall soon

Good lord first trip back and im reminded how simple minded the people out here on the river can be we have a call watch man who had no idea the running lights which he has carried out for the last two weeks at night to put on the barges had to be charged . he keeps calling the capstan line a capsule line. we actually had him looking for the basement to go get some peanut oil to grease the ratchets ummmm there is not basement on a towboat. yet this is the idiot who keeps trying to tell me what to do because this is my first trip back good lord i been off the water almost 6 years and know more than him this is his fourth trip. it really fits into one of those people ya just want to ask them whats it feel like to be a fuckin idiot? as sad as it is he says he wants to get into the wheelhouse i have at least 14 days left on this trip lets see if he makes it or not more to come as this comedy show unravels.
