mum expired. [EVERYONE]

I have my Great Grandmothers old Singer Sewing Machine. It was in my mothers attic for years and the wood it splintered and in rough shape. I would love to have it redone but I also love the way it looks now. It really shows its age and history. What do you think? Have it redone or leave it like it is?
