'Twas the Night before Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through my mind
The names of my friends passed altogether combined
I hung no stockings for them with care
But I truly wished that they could be there
My family had gone early to bed
But I stayed wide awake instead
I looked up above and began to thank
My heavenly Father for this great rank
I couldve been a doctor, lawyer or even a preacher
But God decided to make me an even better creature
He blessed me with this title that I must defend
For as long as I live I am someones good old friend
So I glanced out the window at the streets outside
Cars covered with snow from side to side
Lights so bright and the sky as clear as can be
But the most beautiful thing as you may agree
Its not the moon or the stars up high
Its a detail that brings a tear to my eye
That in this season of good tidings and cheer
Im fortunate to have you as a friend, so kind and sincere
May God bless you and all the ones you love
And grant you everything you are dreaming of
This brings me to the end of my poem with one more thing to recite
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!"
