with cracks and chips missing
fragile but with a hint of disdain for all who try to shatter whats left of me.
to trust someone else

to have knowledge that although control is gone

and when sunlight is streaming all the other masks i wear are on

tremble from my lips
to know i am safe for a few hours
and unmasked so i can breath
and happiness beyond expectations
