im sitting here this morning and was think about all the things that have happened to me over the years while driving a truck. i have been robbed, had things stolen from my truck , and learned alot about the old adage " wrong place at the wrong time" But one thing has always intruged me, and that is the flasher. Your driving down the road when a car pulls along, some time they honk most of the time they dont. then a girl sitting in the car pulls up her shirt and flashes you a big smile. then they're gone driving on down the road. Even on your worst day you have to smile and wish for a second look , most of the time there gone before you even have the chance to look twice. i admit some guys run trucks that are not governed so off they go to try and get a second look most are stuck whatching the car zoom away. looking and wishing. but over the yaers i have never had anyone tell me why they do it is it just for fun? are they as bored as i am as we roll down the road. was it a bet. or something more? so i ask you have you ever flashed someone while driving? and if you have why did you do it?

ok.. i admit im a truck driver and proud of it. for the better part of 2 decades i have driven a truck. but of late i have seen alot of people that take what i do for granted. i am told to get the f&^% out of there way. ok we are slow some times . other times we drive to fast, yet this all comes back to people that seem so ungratful. do people not understand that we are on a time table we have to be somewhere yesterday with freight we cannt pick up till tomorrow. do people not see that if we stop then in a few days the shelves at the stores are empty and then what do you do? im tired and lonely having only had 2 days at home for christmas. so please next time you see a trucker running down the road give the person a break and wave and maybe make there day in some special way.... and to all of you out there have a great day and be safe.

for all of you out there i have to say i love you folks for all the friendships that have been started here. but u am about to have to go back out on the road.driving a big rig. i had hoped that me and my wife could make it without having to do this but money just isnt coming in the way we had hoped so im back on the road again. well ill be just about everwhere so give me a shout ..jeff

just for thoose of you that want to know i have returned to running over the road as a truck driver. i will be on here from time to time and try to talk to people as i get a chance so ill see you around

for the last year my wife and i have had to deal with a very bad problem. my father in law was dignoused with terminal cancer and given a year. this comes at the same time we are tring to raise our first child alex. who will be 15 moths old the 25 of the month. so if im a littel down and glummy please remeber me and my family in your talkes with the lord
