hey Everyone, how are you all doing? i had a fantastic weekend. i went to Branson MO with my sister and neice and her friend. we left thursday night went allmost all the way there but had to stop cause my legs were cramping from all the driving...friday we got there about 11 am and drove around checking things out. then we went to see Broadway....was a production about broadway shows...had little pieces of several shows that have made it onto broadway. then we went to lunch at this place claimed to have the worlds best shakes...lol..nope i have had better.
then we went to see Spirit Of The Dance, it was realy great. we all had a great day..only bad experience was when we went to dinner at ruby tuesdays...OMG we had a table of drunks sitting behind us getting all loud and happy...you could hear them clear outside..was rediculious. we had to ask to move ...they took over an hour to take our orders then took another hour to get us our food...and then my steak was tough, not cooked to my order, they didnt even put their seasoning on it...and i didnt get my brocoli and for those who have eaten there you know you get brocoli with everything unless you tell them otherwise. and once we got out food she ignored us...not good so i didnt even bother trying to send it back..i figured we would never eat if i did. then we got our hotel..OMG bug fest...it looks like a realy nice hotel on the net...but when you get there its not that great...the quility inn...dont go there unless you like old lumpy beds and climbing stairs and being bitten while you sleep...my sister is handicapped and they put us on the second floor of a hotel with no elevator..not brite ...so on friday we checked out and got a new hotel on our way out heading home ...was a much nicer hotel...until...
the next day we went to ride the ozark railroad..is a train ride on an old authentic train from the olden days...lol...and went backwards into arkansas and then forward back into missouri..lol...got to see alot of trees...lol..we went shopping that day as well..was lots of fun..spent lots of money..lol..
went to the build a bear workshop and me and the kids made ourselves stuffies...the girls made bears and i made a wolfie..since i love wolfs...well after that we let the girls go ride the gocarts at the raceway ...its an arcade and track place for kids/teens...then to dinner...and then we headed out ..we got to our hotel..wasnt to bad...comfy beds for the most part. tv that worked...we went swimming and got a sex edd course..lol mom and dad and thier daughter and her girlfriend making out in the hot tub then in the pool...ick...lol..
once we went back to our rooms we were chillin when the girls yelled that their power had gone out in their room...oh joy...i called downstairs and the clerk tells me he cant do anythign but give us a light bulb.... geez..so the girls just went to bed ....
the next morning we went swimming again and their power was still out...so when we left we complained to the day staff and they said the night guy knows what to do..he was just being lazy...it was just a tripped breaker...shrugs..so they gave us $20 off the room. we were only about 30 minutes from the fantastic cavern so we desided to go see it...they take you down into it on a car /tram ..so you dont walk and cant wonder around. about a mile underground...was realy cool..when i get my photos developed i will put some on here...anyways after that we headed home..didnt get home till 10 sunday night...was a very long weekend and a very long drive..my whole body aches from it...but at least we had a good time.
