Words unspoken

When the first day in the Spring that will be over 60 starts there is a mesmerizing sunrise and one is bathed in a warmth thought touches them to thier very soul, this is the way that I feel each time I see you. Enchanted by the mere sight of you approaching, my heart quickens as my senses reel. I can feel a thousand symphonies welling in my chest, melodious character of your invent searching for escape; yet I am unable to open my mouth to loose any of what I wish to say. Your features intoxicate me bwyond my controll and I bask within the glow of your beauty in an awestruck state. As beautiful as you are, it is your heart that truly draws me to you.Your respect and charm that could disarm the cruelest of intent, that slighty niavete and innocence that makes me feel so strong , yet so weak at the time. Even this seems so trivial next to the exhileration and excitement that come from knowing that it is me that have chosen to spend this time. Each minute a blessed treasure that shall be clung to until my demise, how could anything be more precious?

All of this trying to get out, all of this, that I want to say; yet I stuggle with all my might and all that I can get out is "I love you, I love you so much." as my lips reach for yours lucious lips and I embrace you with my longing arms.

Humanimals

I would like to put forth that we change what we call ourselves to Humanimals.I hear people all to often deny that they are animals or using the term in a derogatory manner. If you are not an animal, are you vegetable or mineral? We are the animal Human, we are subject to many of the same afflictions that other animals have, but supposedly have the intelligence to overcome them.
We see them in our day to day lives, even make jokes about them. The 'terrible twos', the 'little adult' stage, the 'teenage rebellion', the 'seven year itch', the 'biological clock', and the 'mid-life crisis' are all examples. Most are designed to facilitate breeding and a diverse gene pool, but do not fit well into a monogamous relationship, if any wish further explanation on how these were meant to affect breeding, feel free to drop me a line and ask. If we are to overcome them we must be aware of them, educate ourselves about their effects, and be smart enough to overcome the; however in order to do this, we must first admit to ourselves that we are indeed animals. Do not get me wrong, there are many other factors that can influence a relationship as well, but knowing that certain ones will happen on an animal level and how they will affect us can only help. These are due to hormone changes, as most already know, and while we can not and should not stop such changes, we can be smart enough to not let them ruin a relationship.
I have seen countless relationships ruined because people failed to realize that it was only an animal instinct that guided them toward the destruction of it. Blind-sided by hormones and unaware of it, they fall prey to them. I do not ask you to take my word for this, though science does not seem to cover such things, we can see for ourselves.Use your powers of observation, see what others are doing and going through, know it can happen to you as well, and be prepared for it. I could ramble on about this for hours, but it will do no good. Those interested will watch and learn, those curious will ask, those who think they are not animals will likely fall into the path of those before them. I wish you luck, whatever path you choose.

prjudice and assumptions

I was having a discussion the other day with an Etomologist. The conversation had come around to the subject of the most misused word in the English language. The word that I was putting forth was 'prejudice'.
prej·u·dice
  –noun
1.
an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
2.
any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
3.
unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, esp. of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.
4.
such attitudes considered collectively: The war against prejudice is never-ending.
5.
damage or injury; detriment: a law that operated to the prejudice of the majority.
–verb (used with object)
6.
to affect with a prejudice, either favorable or unfavorable: His honesty and sincerity prejudiced us in his favor.
—Idiom
7.
without prejudice, Law . without dismissing, damaging, or otherwise affecting a legal interest or demand.
When I grew up the second definition was the one that I was use to, these days it has shifted to the first one, but most seem to use it to mean 'bigot'.
The conversation continued as I was explaining that I think it is a shame that the second definition is not used more widely, since it is a primary part of assumption. He was a surprised that I think assumption is a good thing. The old saying that "Assumptiom makes an ass out of you and me, ASS-U-ME", had come to be true in his mind. I spent an hour explaining how assumption is one of the top reasons for the advance of mankind. For most of us almost 90% of our thoughts are assumptions or based on them. The assumptions save us all a great amount of time and energy. When we throw a stone, we do not have to wait for it to land to know where it will go, we assume from previous experience that it will go where we meant for it to go.
We draw conclusions based on it, even make plans on assumptions and the strength of our assumption is directly related to strength of the prejudice we used to make them. We make assumptions so often that they are more than second nature, they are assumed to fact. The alarm will wake you up in the morning--it could fail, you could sleep through it, you do not even know if it truly does wake you; it could be that your biological clock is waking you up and you think it the clock. We assume we will wake up or even be alive, that the car will start, that you will not get in a wreck. These assumptions all based on the prjudices acquired through repaeting the action time after time, but each could be wrong on any given day. These assumptions help us go on and not have to rethink the same part of each new day. it unfortunately has the side effect of making people take for granted that they will happen and in doing so, take for granted much in their lives. People will take for granted that their mate will be there for them, that they will be faithful, that they even love them, instead of appreciating them for the blessing that they are. The human brain is an amazing thing and more complicated than even the experts know. Most never take the time to try to figure out how their mind works, let alone why; but knowing this can help to avoid most of the pitfalls that are encountered in relationships and in life. If people would observe others and see commonalities in them, they could be aware of such behaviors and avoid the bad ones. Taking a Euclidian approach to our own behavior as well we do to the surroundings would make us more prepared for the future.
