It is quite interesting how I woke up this morning and was off tp wprk as usual at about 420 am and I decided to put in what I thought was a Korn CD that I got from work about a wk ago. Because it was dark and i really wasn't paying attn to nothing but the case, I put it in and let it commence to play. Once it got going, this is what I heard:
All I Think About Is You
What I Am.....
I am a man of many issues
Just like any other person on the planet
Because I am not perfect.
What I am, is that man
That will be supportive in all things
That you want to do in Life.
What I am, is that man
That will not change you into
What “I” want you to be
But be beside you in where you want to be
And what you want to become.
What I am, is that man
That will sacrifice my Life for you
Because I Love you.
What I am, is that man
That will forget about the small
Things in life, not purposely
But because I am human.
What I am, is that man
That will always take care of you
When you are not feeling well.
What I am, is that man
That works hard to provide
For family, you and then myself.
What I am, is that man
That will never mentally, verbally or physically
Tear you down, but be there to build you up.
What I am, is that man
That will hurt when you hurt
Even when my emotions don’t show it.
What I am, is that man
Tho lacking of being in tune with my emotions
Will Love you always
No matter what the situation is.
What I am, is that man
Built on flaws and imperfections
Because I am not perfect
Nor will I ever Be

Now, just what is the meaning "to Love"? How many meanings are there? Different types? I know there are different types. I have my own. The way I love my parents, my kids, my friends are all different. But what is it to truly Love another person that you would like to share your Life with?
I came to a conclusion a few wks ago that was not even at all shocking to me. That, I knew how to love my parents, siblings, my kids and friend but not the woman I Love. Really, how is that suppose to work? What dop really do to love our better halfs?
It goes far beyond just telling them you love them, kissing them on your way out to work and back in, spending quality time when you can with each other but there is even more to it then just that.
Where do we learn to love people from? Is it just natural to do so? Do we really learn it from our parents, family & friends? I couldn't even tell you when the last time I seen my parents hold hands, hug or kiss before my mother passed away. Makes me feel really empty that I can't remember that. I so wish I could go back to one of those days and see ti with my own eyes, them doing any of that.
Taking of things is all I believe I know how to do. Something that I came up with a few wks ago. It just doesn't include being able to Love another woman the way she is to be Loved. She says, Can you fix the this that and the other on my car or in the yard, I can handle that. But if she says, Can you Love me, I can truly say I don't know how after thinking on it that the last few wks.
The word "Love" is such a breath taking word. Filled with all kinds of emotions that goes far beyond what we think. It so differs from person to person and how it is to be used and expressed............................
