There are those days..
When you just want to be noticed
You want to feel something real
For the right reasons
For the person you are
For the morals that you portray
For the heart that you have
For the emotion you feel
For the genuine person that you are
Not for the clothes that you wear
How physically fit or not you are
The car that you drive
The money you have or don’t have
The dwelling you live in
The toys that you have
The material things that you have
The bad decisions you have or haven’t made
The hard times that you may or may not be going through
Time
Spent together shouldn’t be about where you go
What you may do
How much it costs to get there
Who pays for whom
It should be about the time spent
The interaction
The memories made
The quality
You look forward to
That phone call
That text message
That email
That feeling you get when you share a moment with someone
But sadly
You don’t get that phone call
Text message
Email
And very rarely do you get to share those moments that make everything worth while
So you call but no one answers
You text but no one responds
You email but yeah… you get the idea…
It hurts more then one could imagine unless they are in your shoes
Being the one that is off in the distance
Out of the loop
Just an option and not a priority
You try not to give up
You try not to fail
You try to make the best moves for yourself
But yet
Even with all that you do
Knowing that some days it takes everything you have to just get going
It’s good to know that you have someone in your corner
On your side
Rooting you on
That believes in you
Some are lucky enough to have found that someone
And some are still searching
Hoping
That at the end of the day
That someone will be there
Not to criticize or throw stones
But to come together as one to share the good and bad of each others day
