thoughts — Monday, November 06, 2006 Lots of various things today. - I think it would be a cool idea to send all the relgious fanatics to Iran, or iraq, or somewhere like that. Send all ours there, they can play with all the other one's there, and be happy living in a country being runned by " god's laws " What fun the mormons and the other religious extremests would have over there. We can then send our troops home, and those people can fight their own holy war, if they believe in it that much. Just an idea that came to me today. A volunteer army..... How about we let anyone interested in and who really believe in the war go fight it. And get the people who don't really care, or don't really want to be there home. - Marriage, and kids, and old people, and stererle people.- So, marriage is for the raising of children, it's ok for males and females to get married cuz that facilitates the better raising of children. Even old, and sterill people can get married because that type of relatlionship still facilitates a good envirement for children if a divine mirricle occurs, or they adopt children? So lets screen our marriage licenses more carefully then. For two people want to get marriade ( I forgot how to spell the verb form of marriage for some reason ) then seems they ought to be able to prove their marraige facilitate a very good envirement for raising children. Such as, they ought to own a big enough house in an ok neihborhood. They ought to make enough money to be able to support a child if they have one. They ought to have some intent on having a child or adopting one. Maybe an oath or affirmation required for that. Maybe a requirement should be imposed, if they don't have a child within 10 years of being married, they will be automaticly divorced, and fined for not living up to their end of the deal. If people who aren't able to properly take care of a child due to financial reasons, or the lack of knowledge required for raising kids have one, it should be taken away and become custody of the state. When it's proven that they have the means to take care of the child and their marriage facilitates a good envirement for raising children, they can have their child back, if the child wants to go back. The two individuals genetic makeup should be someone evaluated too. Since only people who present the idealistic, or somewhat best envirement for children should be able to get married and have children, it doesn't seem fair that kids should be given the chance to be born by stupid parents. An IQ test needs to be given, because every child should be able to not only have a momy and dady, but a mommy and daddy who aren't fuckiung morons. Anyone who can't score high on this IQ test, should be able to get a waiver, after completeing a rigerous parenting class, and passing the test at the end of it. Come to think about it, a parenting class ought to be required to be taken and passed in order for you to be qualified for a marriage licsencs. Seems like that would make sense, since it's an istitution desinged to facilitate a good envirement for raising children and haveing them become productive benificial members of society. Aslo, if you get married, and your kids don't grow up to be benificial productive members of society, you broke your end of the contract, and your marriage will be terminated!! So, all in all, the good ideas from the above brainstorming, are- people should be required to take a parenting class and pass it in order to get a marriage license. And, if you have kids ( either naturally, or by adopting ) and they don't become productive benificial members of society, your marriage will be terminated. Marriage license= children license. If you can't take care of kids, you shouldn't have them, and shouldn't be married. ( If the main point of marriage is for the basis of raising children ) silly pictures of the day. To go with the thoughts of the day. Other things. I'm not sure if I wrote about this recently, but it crosses my thought path alot. I like freedom of speach because I'm a fan of honesty. Without freedom of speach some people wouldn't be able to be honest. I like knowing what people honestly think about stuff, and like hearing it. Even when I wholeheatedly dissagree with it. I encourage racist people to talk how they want, especially when among adults. Thatway, I know who the stupid fuckers are, and I can avoid them, and don't end up being friends and stuff with them. Don't hide who you are, be yourself... Should children be tried as adults? And if so, should they be treated as adults after being tried as adults? If I was suspected of say, murder, and I was tried as an adult, and found innocent, I'd damned sure be demanding the right to vote, and all the other rights adults had, since you were intent on trying me as one, and killing me if I was found guilty. So then, if a child does something that we would try them for as an adult for if the did it to a child, should we not treat them as an adult if they do that same thing to an adult????? Is it less adult or more adult, whatever that means, to do something to an adult, or a child? Different people mature at different ages, there's no magical age where people suddenly become " a mature adult ". So as in the cases of murder and such, sometimes the logical thinking is, if you act like and adult, then you get treated as an adult under the law. " Do an adult crime, do adult time. " Or something like that. So another question is, what sort of actions validify ( ? ) or constitute the justifications of thinking of, and treating as someone as an adult? Planning and killing someone? Coercing, or convincing someone to have sex with you? Wrape? Planning and executing an armed robbery? A severe beating? I don't know. Just a lot of unsanswered questions...
