Just a Cool kind of Love. Like rain in the summertime. That would suite me fine. Having felt as though I had to go to or even work in every club scene in the country during my youth, I have done as my Cherokee ancestors before me and retreated to the mountains of North Georgia. It is here where my family once lived freely that I will make my own stand.
I am so much more lucky than they were. I can walk in public dressed in my indian garb and wear my hair long and proud without fear of being discovered and forcably removed to some far off place, or worse. I can practice my arts while feeling needed and respected in my small community.
A close knit community where people seem to truly care for others and it is common for them to drop in at any time bearing wonderfull gifts of vegitables and things of practicle use. It is here that I have resided since 03 and I have been so very blessed.
A far cry from my former uptown addresses and social life, I have chosen the more rustic and country life as the way I want to spend my golden years. To relax and use my talents to creat beautiful things and sell them. To enjoy the cool mountain mornings and live my life at a pace that is in tune with my mind and body.
So, now I wait for Great Grandfather the Creator, to send me someone who would enjoy knowing someone like me.
