| I dont believe there will be some horrific ending to mankind anytime soon let alone in 2012. I do believe that we are headed towards a dramatic change tho that will forever change the way we live our lives. The sun is coming to it's Solar Maximum and there have already been a few very large Coronal Mass Ejections (CME)that luckily have missed Earth altogether. However it is only a matter of time before the Sun does release a CME and given what has happened in the past we could face a catastrophic meltdown of the power grid. In this event, do you think Americans will be able to live just fine Without modern electronics? Or will we be lost and be unable to function in society? Keep in mind a major loss of the power grid could take years to rebuild. |
