I was woken up out of a dead sleep by a dream that I was having this is what came to my mind. I had to get this so I grabbed the nearest pen(marker) before I lost this.
The devil came to me one night as I was contemplating my life's past, present, and possible future. True to form she told me she would give me what I wanted most if I gave something that she wanted. This perked my curiousity so I agreed.
"I want your soul," she replied.
"Not mine to give." I told her. "It belongs to the father in heaven."
"I want your body." She said now showing less restraint in the tone of her voice.
"Nor does my body belong to me but the earth from which it was sculpted." A small smirk raises from my lips while saying this.
Getting aggrivated she commands that I should give her my mind. "Give me all of those fabulous thoughts you have." She snickers when saying this.
"My mind is not my own for it wonders where it may may and only comes back to tell me a story or two." The smirk has now become a smile after seeing how frustaited she is now at this comment.
"I want your hart being so rich and pure." She demanded at the top of her lungs now furious.
"I gave so much of my hart to the ones of whom I have loved, ??????????????????????????????, there is none left for me to give."
Finally she comes to the only conclusion availible..."I want your life!"
"Take it!" I tell her. "For I no longer have any use for it because I am bored with it and I wish to be alone no more."
Just then I died and the last thought to cross my mind was an image of a face. The one who would have been the love of my life. It is funny though...it always turns out to be the last person expected and even stranger still is that it is the one person I didn't want it to be.
