I am thankful for.....
1. God : No explanation needed
2. My parents : I am the daughter of two wonderful parents who have always been there and believed in me and given me so much.
3. My children : I have the most two amazing children I could ever want or hope for. They are my reason for living and my reason for striving to be a better person.
4. My family : My family is everything to me. Without them I would be lost in this crazy world
5. My friends : I don't have a large number of close friends, but I do know there are a lot of good people, near and far, who I can count on, who care about me, and who want only the best for me. I truly value my friends and will never have "enough" or too many.
6. Being an American and our Soldiers : I love my country because it is mine. It may not be perfect but what place is? I love it none the less. A soldiers job is an admiral and brave thing to do. Our men and women in uniform, past and present, have, do, and will give so much for us all. So do their families.
7. Being able to laugh : I like that I can often smile my way through difficulties and find the bright side.
8. Good Health : Knock on wood. One never really knows what can happen in this regard but I am thinking for the good health I currently am in.
9. Country Music : It's feel good music ( Even if the story is sad ), its music with values that I love and follow.
10. The seasons : I love them all. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. There are so many wonderful, special things about each
11. Knowing when to quit : I like knowing that I'm able to walk away from things that don't make me happy or aren't satisfying. Sometimes it takes a while to come to terms with "quitting," but I'm glad I've had the guts to do it when it has really mattered.
12. A good novel : I really appreciate a book that can transport me to another world.
13. Fleece : My favorite thing to pull over me.
14. Hot baths : Nothing more relaxing
15. Rain : Love to listen to the sound of rain falling outside, love the smell in the air, love to cuddle up on a cold wet rainy day
16. Sunshine : Doesn't it feel good?
17. Oceans : I am blessed enough to have grown up around one all my life. The smell of the spray the animals that live in it. The allure of all that has yet to be discovered inside of it. Its Mystery, and Beauty. I respect the oceans and hope everyone will as well.
18. Moon and Stars : Nothing more breathtaking and always changing yet has its constants as well.
19. Kindness of strangers : I love when someone I do not know smiles at me, does, or says something nice, just because.
20. Memories : It's fun to reminisce. For all the good and the bad would change nothing that has made me who I am today
21. Art : Glad people have the ambition to create.
22. The little things: Its the small simple gestures that people do for one another that mean the most. Its being curled up with my children reading a book. Simple and pure gestures mean the most to me. It' not about how much you can do for me or how much you can spend.
23. Friends I've yet to make: I look forward to meeting them... Hmmm... I wonder who they will be
24. Wildflowers : For their beauty
25. Being too sensitive : I'd rather be too sensitive about my own feelings and others then to not be sensitive enough
26. For today : Live today like tomorrow will never come. Enjoy life to its fullest.
27. For Being me : I'm stubborn, moody, crazy, smart, beautiful, caring but most of all unique. There will never be another me and I am thankful for that.
