I have had my baby blog in the #1 blog spot before. Its not there any longer but at least I can say its been there. I have made many cool friends along the way since joining and had lots of fun. My question that I pose to ALL of you that see this is "Do I deserve to make it to a legend for what I am trying to do here for parents who have lost babies as well as for the babies that live in our memories forever?" I keep hearing that what I am doing here is honorable and important. Mike and I have been busy working in the apt downstairs getting it fixed up, painted and cleaned so that we can move down there. For most of the last week or so we have been down there patching walls...painting...shampooing rugs....etc and now the last couple days we have been moving stuff down there and getting things transferred over into our name. Today will most likely be the last day of it all though. We got a TON done yesterday and last night. The bulk of our biggest furniture is down there...now its just some boxes and smaller pieces left. It will just be really nice once this is all over with so we can spend more time putting things away the way that we want it and relaxing.

I have been realizing more and more over the last couple weeks that my kids are growing faster than I have ever thought or have gotten comfy with yet. I went shopping for clothes for them a couple weeks ago and I noticed how much bigger they were than I was thinking and also I have realized that my son is SOOOO much more mature than he has EVER been. They are looking at taking him out of special ed because his behavior is no longer a learning disability to him anymore and he has made this HUGE improvement in less than one school year. He has worked so hard and gotten so much better. He now has more friends and has gained the respect of the other kids because of his level of improvement. It sometimes hurts my heart to think that my babies will be 2nd and 5th graders next year. Its like it was yesterday that they were in my arms coming home from the hospital and I was changing their diapers. Although it hurts a little...I am so proud to see what they are slowly becoming. I am sure that I am not the only one in this position though.

There used to be a time that I thought that Valentines Day was solely a marketing holiday...I thought it was a crock of sh*t put on by hallmark or the candy companies to sell sh*t. I guess now that I am in a happy relationship, I am kinda glad that there is a holiday to celebrate our love and I never thought of this before but it also gives me an extra special opportunity to tell my kids I love them in a fun special sort of way. Maybe my fickle-ness is wearing off as I get older...WHO KNOWS! lol....have a great week everyone and have a HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

For the last 3 days or so my hunny and I have been working in the apt downstairs from us so we can move down into that one because its downstairs and has a little more room in it. Its been a real pain though because of needing to shampoo rugs and patch nail holes and paint. we are waiting for new linoleum to be installed as well and there is just SOOO MUCH to do and not enough time to get it done with mike working and me not knowing how to do alot of the repairs. I am doing what I can though and trying to pack things up little by little so that we can get moved down there as soon as we can. the new stove and washing machine was dropped off today and we started the painting in the livingroom today so we made a little progress. I guess I just needed to vent about it a little because mike is a tow truck driver and he kept getting called away today to locks outs and jump starts and such that we didnt make as much progress as we wanted to. such is life I guess and I will get cracking tomorrow and finish shampooing the rugs moving more down there. goodnight everyone.
