What are you waiting for?
In this day and age of Facebook, Fubar, Myspace, how did people find each other 30 years ago? Don't get me wrong this is cool stuff, but how much farther can this go? I think more about what is going on in my computer world more then my reality itself. With texting, and email, and Photoshop I still have a family, a job and a list of other things that I have to do. i think i put that in my black berry in the "Things to do folder". I feel that the world is driving us to sit in front of a computer for the rest of our lives. My kids who are 3 and 5 already know how to go on Toy Wiz and look up Star Wars action figures. WOW What is next. You back in the day people who lived off the grid were like the people who lived in the hills. Now is like if you don't have a T1 line or cable modem you are out of the loop. Remember Pagers? Everyone had to have a pager. I don't think doctors have them now, or intergated into their 600 dollar phones. Has there ever been a time that you didn't want to bothered by some tech device? I mean no LCD tv, no Ipod, no xbox, or playstation. The kids would go nuts. I think we need to spend time without the cool stuff and see how long we could last. Go Amish for a week. Yeah right.
