Hi~
Just wanted to let you know that my grandson had both eye surgeries and he is seeing fine now. He was a trooper for the 2nd one because he knew it would help him see with both eyes. He is going through rehabilitation to catch up on his visual recognition skills.
I am going to go see the two boys - and my son of course :) - the 2nd week in August. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! WOOHOO!
Other than that, I think they are trying to kill me at work, some days I feel like an old pack mule. But, the man can't keep me down for long.
Last week a dear friend passed away unexpectedly, his family is in Nova Scotia, so it fell on me and Captain Sweetheart to organize a memorial service. They are transporting the remains back home and will not have a ceremony here. We got the service out of the way yesterday, and are planning an "Irish Funeral" this Friday. That is where they get drunk and dance on the grave to give the departed a proper sendoff. We will have it at a local watering hole, and I expect that to be much more uplifting. Thank goodness!

Meanwhile, R.I.P. Lee, a "Frostback" no more! You are home and will live on in everything we see around us. Wait for me, buddy, I will be there with you in (quite) a few more years.
