The "Texas" Menu

This is the same menu that the study in Texas is having. Being that they started the study first we have to have what they are eating also.. I think it is great, but way to much food. Monday's menu- Breakfast will be 4 fl. oz of orange juice, 1 box of cherrios, 8 fl. oz of skim milk, 1 bagel, 3/4 oz fat-free cream cheese, 1 blueberry muffin Lunch is BBQ pork rib pattie, 1 seeded bun, 2 tbsp bbq sauce, 1 pkg Bugels, 1/2 cup pinto beans, 1 cranberry crunch cookie Dinner 1 serving (6 oz) of King Ranch Casserole, 2 pkts picante sauce, 1/2 cup chuckwagon corn, 1/2 cup spanish rice, 1 slice orange iced cake Snack 1 pkg (2.25 oz) Trail Mix, 8 fl. oz of skim milk ___________________________________________________ Tuesday's menu- Breakfast includes 4 fl. oz of Apple juice, 2 buttermilk Biscuits, 1/2 cup sausage gravy, 1/2 cup mixed fruit in light syrup, 1 pkt Margerine, 1 pkt Jelly, 8 fl oz 2% Milk Lunch is Taco Salad (1 taco bowl, 1/2 cup browned taco seasoned ground beef, 1/2 cup kidney beans, 1 cup shredded lettuce, 1/2 cup chopped tomato, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese), 2 pkts picante sauce, 1 orange, 1 pkg graham crackers, 8 fl oz lemonade Dinner 1 serving (8 oz) Meat lasagna, 1 slice garlic bread, 1 cup tossed salad, 1 pkt fat free ranch dressing, 1 pkt parm cheese, 1 piece (3x2") yellow cake with white frosting, 8 fl oz fruit punch Snack 1 pkg Vienna creme cookies, 8 fl oz 2% milk _________________________________________________ Wednesdays menu- Breakfast 1 english muffin, 1 pkt Margerine, 2 pkt.
