my heart felt all empty
a stormy twisted tide
looseing myself deep in a game
disapearing, thinking i could hide
I felt no hope felt all broken inside
searching for something, felt insecure
trying to find someone else to be
inventing a new life I was not sure
I started with lies, tied in with half truth
tried to escape my distress
here i had a new name, age and life
I altered my life as if to impress
never did I expect to have to reveal
somehow i met you and now i can see
revealing the truth, i tried to turn you away
but you ... you accepted the one that is me
