As The Days And Nights Grow Ever Long
Yearns For Peace And Comforts Of His Home
With Another Bird To Call His Own
The Sands Of Time Slip By
The Pain Now Stronger In His Eyes
With A Single Tear He Starts To Cry
His Time Has Come It's Time To Die
His Pain Is Over He Is No More
A Desperate Sparrow Knocks At His Door
Waiting To Be Loved For Ever More.
His Body Lays And Rots Away
The Sparrow Has Since Flown Away
He Missed His Chance At Happiness
In This World.
