"The power of a poet" Part-1
This is to all the people,
who just can't take it,
the fact that I'm in the spotlight,
it's taken too long for me to make it,
as a writer, and a poet,
you CAN'T bring me down,
I've got people backing me now,and I know it,
they know who they are, because I've told them,
that I've got love for them, and even though they're not here with me,I'll still hold them,
close to me in my heart,
I've got their backs,and they've got mine,
we will rise to the top, together we WILL shine.
We have the power, whether or not,they choose to see it,
we can help to save the people that can't help themselves,
they just don't see they they need it,
they all think, they can do it alone,
but they truly do need us,
little do they know,
sometimes we play around,
using our words for fun,but not always serious,
and accidentally creating enemies,
now we've got people fearing us,
we need to learn how to use our power,
and try not to abuse it,
realize we CAN change the world, together,
if only we would choose it.
This is also to my friends,
the ones that help to keep me in check,
some I've never even met,
but we can FEEL the respect,
so choose what you say wisely,
and try not to forget,
you only get one chance and if you mess up,
then you're left with regret,
so forget about sticks and stones,
nothing can hurt you worse then,
the degrading things that people say,
words can destroy a person.
