So I was at another Starbucks for the second time in one day. This one had a poster on the message board about an Egyptian King Tut thing going on at the Franklin Institute in Philly. It's been on tour, and this is its final stop. It's there until the end of Sept.
Wow. Imagine a day where I'd get to go see Egyptian stuff (says the girl with Ankh's on her fingernails), and it's in center city Philly, which means that there could be dinner at a Hard Rock Café. (Which anyone who has ever been to either of my web-pages, or has seen half my shirt collection, or knows one of my big reasons for going to Boston on my freakin honeymoon; can tell you- I'm a HUGE HRC fan!)
I'm just saying... WOW. It would only be better if there was an Aerosmith concert to end it.
Anyway. Not sure if there's enough left in the travel budget this month, but doubt it. It was more of a short little fantasy. Makes me wonder if anyone else I know saw one of those posters and was all, "Holy crap! That's got Jamie written all over it!" Ok, clearly no one has, because they'd have told me. Gotta get far enough out of Philly, but not to far out, in order to find out that something this cool is happening in Philly. Go figure. Maybe Mom will get sent to Doylestown more often, so we can find out about these things...
Oh yeah, we were behind a truck in traffic with TWO Aerosmith window clings. And yes, I seriously considered jumping out and stealing one.
