Good Morning…
It is one week before Christmas to the day. Too late to do my famous 12 days of Christmas wishes…however it is not too late to bring memories back…not to late to bring that Christmas magic up front and smack dab in front of everyone…We all have seen the tons of on-line Christmas cards, jokes, poems, and renditions of a soldiers Christmas poem that sometimes brings the strongest of us to tears…memories keep the holiday spirit intact. In fact memories are what this letter is all about. Christmas Memories…Good Times…those times when you smiled so wide that you thought your face would crack. Times when you seen the magic of Christmas appear so big, so bright that you forgot about bills, grief and sorrow…You knew there were people all over the world just like you, no colors divided. Your thoughts were just of silver and gold, red and green. Tinsel sparkled like never before. We are the world, no differences to set us aside from this person or that. No wars in our thoughts, no gun fire, no this person is better then this person… All thoughts were of the magic of Christmas, that special gift opened, that special gift gave… No thoughts of I could have done this or that…no thoughts of how much he spent she spent…no thoughts of money…Just that wide open warming smile. For one second peace on earth and good will toward man was evident…Wow, I sound like part of a picture in a Norman Rockwell Magazine cover…or a Hallmark pristine story…You know life is not always the best, it is harder on most then most even care to know. In a time where any second the world we know could change to bleak and utter chaos let’s use this time we are given to recall the magic of Christmas. What was your most magical moment? What put you in that Rockwell painting, that true spirit of Christmas, that moment where the world was the place we all wanted it to be. Please make this a magical moment, we all have at least one, some have more and some have less…bring one out of storage and recapture and share it with all of us…
Tomorrow I am going to put them all together and it will be called the magic of Christmas thru many eyes. These will be your stories if you wish to share I would like that. It will be Christmas on parade with each stories author’s name at the end…just a first name, perhaps a nick name but just a piece of history brought back for all to share and warm their toes next to your fire place as you tell it…we will move from fire place to fire place sharing what each person’s magic was and still is. It can be as long as you wish or as short as you wish, however size…where have I heard this before...size does not matter…just having everyone’s input does. Please share, please let me know you care to join in. You know I have always heard talk, communication of one’s feelings are what makes each and everyone of us tick, let’s keep the clock of time ticking…honest you will enjoy reading magical memories instead of the everyday grind…Christmas comes once a year…Yes I know the true meaning of Christmas and I am not here to fight with religious groups, or races or to say who’s magical moment is better then whose…I am just going to coadunate all of them together and printing them out for us all to share. Tomorrow will be that time…take the time and add yours in.
