It seemed he had it all just last week,
So why does his life now look so bleak?
He had the girl of his dreams, the love of his life,
She was supposed to end up as his wife
He loved her to death, shit he'd say "I still do",
He would've bet his life that she loved him too.
She said she did, apparently just not enough,
Or she would have chose him and not that bum.
A huge mistake was made, this even she knows,
But what's left for him to do, besides let her go?
He'll be waiting forever for her,
But for him to think she will ever come back is absurd.
For she now sports a ring on her left hand,
Everytime he sees it, his heart takes another stab.
He begins to regret the day they first kissed.
He went for it all that day with her, and as usual he missed.
So she stayed with the bum, now they're practically engaged,
With his heart in her possession, locked inside a cage.
Cold and alone is how he will forever remain.
Cause he is always a loser when he plays "The Love Game"
But if by some miracle he gets that call,
And she comes back to him once and for all,
His heart will be unlocked and let out the cage,
And he will be with her for the rest of his days.
