Streaking satin through my thoughts,
I write.
You, wrapped in a ball of silk ebony,
Black and lethal as this night,
Dripping with temptation,
Freshly dipped in most desirable ink
Eyes aflame and none to blame,
It’s deeper than you think.
To eat this fruit would be a sin
To strip you of all your cares
Run my fingers down your skin,
But would I really dare…
In this pure transparency
All lust burns like a raging pyre,
No need for veils of passionate wit
I’ll gladly be your “truth telling” liar.
I could want you forever,
Kill for one kiss in the rain
Not a knight in white satin
But a temptress lost in vain.
