The creek that runs crystal clear
Through the forest of my mind,
Tries to help me disappear,
So that the joker does not find.
The waters kiss the rocks,
As the rapids pick up speed.
Crashing in my head,
Dreams begin to bleed.
Like a leaf I start to float,
Further and further down stream.
Where the joker is aloss,
I escape in my dream.
A fairytale land I come across,
My dreamscape brought me here.
For this is how I choose
To drowned out my mortal fear.
The joker never wins with me,
I leave him stuck in reality.
No way out for him to find
In the forest of my mind.
