1. Ladies, be very careful who you talk to. Chances are your talking to a guy who you would never even speak to in real life. Or would never speak to you rather. You don't know them.
Just because you spent time chatting with them, even on the phone or yahoo messenger, web cam, doesn't constitute a relationship. In the right psycho's mind, you paid attention to him, so there for he becomes obsessed! Regardless of how you perceive it.
The same go's for the men. There are just as many women psycho's.
2. There is a very good chance who your talking to is married, in a relationship or just a lonely person taken or not who is not satisfied in there life. Someone who waits till there wife is asleep or at work or husband as it might be to get online and chat. Its easy to connect with a stranger, where you have no history, and it feels good, but your living a fantasy more times than not. Is it worth the risk? I think not!!!
3. Especially on a site like this, which I would venture to say, you would agree is an adult site. It is a bar. Keep your private life especially young kids out of the picture. Or at least have a private folder so you can screen who can see your private photo's or anything else the general public should not see.
4.Internet love - Look "WAKE UP" it is very nice to feel like you've connected with a certain individual. But 99% of the time the person or the persons involved have done this many times before. You can beat your ass if they're into you, they're into others too. I can't stess this enough. This is the internet people!!!! Where fantasy gets mistaken for reality most of the time. Know this, learn this, live this and take it for what it is, and what it ain't! And when you're feeling total devastation because your internet love is loving someone else or many others as it very well might be. Smile. And know that the fact of the matter is, its not unlike a bad dream that you wake up from and realize "Thank God" it was only a dream. Life go's on. Now get back to reality;-) Your bills, job, kids,family, life are waiting for you.
[SIDE NOTE]But I do think if you accept a friend request and see someone has left you something, just out of common decency maybe take a second to return the love. Be it a rate, gift , comment etc.. I know I try my best. And if i've missed you. I apologize!
Of course if your a point whore, this wouldn't matter.
