The Holy Spirit of God has revealed some very interesting things to me last night about the end of time. I would like to take this time right now to reveal to you what some of those awesome revelations included.
In Revelation 1:3 Jesus says, "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because THE TIME IS NEAR."
Pay attention to that last line, "the time is near." Of course Jesus gives comments such as these throughout the New Testament, warning us to be prepared for his return.
This to me seems that it has the strongest impact. Not only is this the beginning of the great Revelation that Jesus gave to John, it's a caution, a warning before you read forward, to know that the time is near and the rapture is just around the corner.
In Revelation 1:7-8 says, "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eyes will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the people of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. 'I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God "who is, and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."
Every eye will see Jesus when he descends from Heaven to help judge the world. How powerful is that? The ones who have turned their back on God, time and time again, will now bow their knee to him. Every tongue shall confess and every knee shall bow. Could you imagine?
The promises of God are so awesome! The letters in revelation written to the seven churches (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea,) include a couple of his most awesome promises to his people. In revelation 2:7 it says, "… To he who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God."
Another promise of God is found in revelation 2:10-11 to Smyrna, "…Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life…He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death."
To Pergamum, in revelation 2:17, "… To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it."
To Thyatira in revelation 2:26-27 "To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter he will dash them to pieces like pottery."
Revelation 3:5 promises to the people of Sardis, "He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels."
To Philadelphia, revelation 3:12 he says, "Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of Heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name." He also promises that "I am coming soon," in revelation 3:11. Also that "… What he opens no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open," in 3:7.
To Laodicea in 3:19 he says, "To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne."
Now that we've established some of the awesome promises of God it's time to get into what will happen in the end. The first sets of judgments that are mention in revelation are the Seal Judgments. The only man worthy to open the seals were Jesus, the lamb himself, who appeared to John as a lamb with seven eyes and seven horns who looks like he had been slain. When the first seal was open, John said that a white horse appeared. The ride had a bow, who wore a crown. He was as a conquer on a conquest- The Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ begins his seven year reign upon the earth, bringing with him all manners of Hell on Earth.
When the second seal judgment was opened John saw a fiery red horse appear. The rider took peace from all the earth and to make men slay each other. He carried a large sword. This horse represents War. War will be upon the earth, possibly and more than likely a World War III. Destruction will cover the face of the earth, but it is only the beginning of the trials.
The third seal that was opened revealed to John as a black horse, represented famine. Famine will overtake the world when this seal is opened. The entire world, not just one region will be under a severe food shortage. The fourth judgment appeared to John as a Pale Horse, which represented death, ¼ of the population will perish either by war, famine, plagues, or beasts of the earth.
When the fifth seal judgment was opened, the martyrs were given God's word that their blood would be avenged and their judgment would come when all was done. God gave them a white robe to wear. The Sixth judgment started a global earthquake, made the sun turn to black, the moon blood red, stars fall from the sky. Every mountain and Island will be removed. This is called the Wrath of the Lamb.
Before the Seventh Seal Judgment, It says that there is not one ounce of wind upon this earth nor on a tree nor on a bit of grass. There is a seal that is put on the foreheads of the followers of Christ, to protect them. One-hundred and forty-four thousand will be saved from the tribes of Israel. Nobody will be able to count the multitude of God. When the seventh seal was opened, there was silence in Heaven for half an hour. Fire rained down onto the earth.
The second set of judgments in the revelation is called the Trumpet Judgments. When the first trumpet sounds, Hail and fire mixed with blood will rain upon the earth, 1/3 of the earth and tress will be burnt up. All grass will be gone. The second trumpet that sounded caused a huge mountain-like object to fall from the sky. It was thrown into the sea and 1/3 of the sea turned to blood, 1/3 of living creatures in the sea died, 1/3 of ships will be destroyed.
When the third trumpet sounds a great star called Wormwood like a torch will fall on 1/3 of all rivers and springs. It will turn the water to poison. Anyone who drinks the water will die. The fourth trumpet to sound struck the sun, 1/3 of the moon and stars turn dark, and 1/3 of the day was without light along with 1/3 of the night.
The fifth trumpet to sound caused a star that had fallen to the earth opened up the Abyss. Smoke rose from it so thick the sun and sky are darkened. Out of the smoke locusts came, told to harm those only without the seal of God. They will torture the ones without the seal of God for five months, not one will die. In Revelation 9:6, "During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them."
The sixth trumpet released four angels from Euphrates who have been held there for this exact day and hour. The angels caused 1/3 of mankind to be killed. 200,000,000 troops will be mounted. After the sixth trumpet, the rest of mankind did not repent.
Before the seventh trumpet, the bible talks about two witnesses straight from Heaven. They will prophesy for 1,260 days to the Israelites, they will dress in sackcloth. Those who try to harm them will be consumed by a fire that comes out of their mouths. They will also have the power to shut up the sky so no rain will come while they prophesy. They will be able to turn the waters to blood, strike the earth with every plague as often as they want. When the 1,260 days are over they will be killed by the Anti-Christ. Their bodies will be put on display for 3 days. After 3 and ½ days they will rise again and ascend to Heaven on a cloud. In the same hour an earthquake will destroy 1/10 of the city, 7,000 will be killed.
The seventh trumpet judgment will begin the judgment upon God's people and their rewards. After the seventh trumpet judgment the bible talks about the Anti-Christ being mortally wounded in the head. He will rise again, not a human anymore, yet Satan in the flesh.
When the Anti-Christ begins his reign he will be given power for 42 months. He will charm the world, utter proud words, and blaspheme. He will also be given the power to make war against saints and conquer them. He's given authority over the entire world, all whose names are not in the book of life will worship him.
A man will stand at the Anti-Christ side, probably as his assistant. The assistant will make fire rain down in front of men, order an image to be set up in honor of the Anti-Christ. He'll be given power to make the image speak and all who would not worship to be killed. He will force every one to take the mark of the beast on either their right hand or on their forehead, the number of the beast is 666.
The seven plagues from the seven angels are the last judgments. First bowl of God's wrath that is poured out onto the earth will cause ugly, painful sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast. The second will be poured into the sea, all sea creatures will die. A third bowl of God's wrath will be poured into the streams and rivers and are turned to blood. The fourth will be poured onto the sun, which was given power to scorch people with fire. The fifth was poured out onto the kingdom of the beast, his kingdom plunged into darkness. The sixth bowl was poured out onto the great river Euphrates and it's water dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. The Seventh and final bowl will be the worse. When it is poured, it will be poured into the air. Flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a sever earthquake, that will shake the globe. More severe than any earthquake this world has ever seen. Hailstones will fall from the sky weighing about 100lbs. each!
Anyone who takes the mark of the beast, instead of the seal of God, will be thrown into the lake of fire. Anyone who denies Christ at all, whether it be in the last days or now, deny Christ and in the end times, when we are all judged you will burn in Hell. Jesus is coming very soon he reminds of us of that moment when he says in revelation 16:15, "Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."
I urge you, do not put off your salvation another second! We are not promised tomorrow, the next five minutes, the next second. Anything could happen, do you really want to leave this earth without first having Christ in your heart? God forgives all, he loves all. The end times is his final attempt to get the attention of those who have turned their backs on him, don't let it take going through the tribulation and the great tribulation to let it sink to your heart. The time is nigh!
If thou will confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you shall be saved. Say the words! God is waiting to embrace you and welcome you home!
