Eyes closed

Nothing seen in the dark

My heart is empty

Ready for a new start.

Just then, a light

Comes from above

Sitting beside me

A lonely white dove.

I glance around

Lost as it seems

Walls surround me

But the light still gleams.

Trying to look up

To my feet I stand

It was at this moment

I see a hand.

It reaches for me

I accept it's embrace

I don't know who is there

My heart starts to race.

As I am pulled up

Out of my lonely, dark hole

I look at a man

White light surrounds his soul.

I look to his left

What do I see

Another white dove

It flies away free.

I feel so happy

As he kisses me next to a stream

Just then, the darkness

Damnit, it was only a dream!
